Maintain the provision of accounting services to our New Zealand business and deliver key accounting information to internal stakeholders and clients.

Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager you will maintain the provision of accounting services to the New Zealand Business, you will play a vital role in providing accounting information to the key stakeholders, clients and suppliers.

 

 

What you will do in this role?

 

  • Manage day-to-day financial function in NZ
  • Ensure creditor payments, invoices and Creditors Ledger is accurately maintained
  • Monitor and analyse expenditure across the NZ business
  • Provide advice to our Leadership Team on process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Assist with month end revenue deferral process, including working with our sales team and checking revenue and contracts in SalesForce
  • Prepare and calculate incentive payments for eligible team members
  • Assist on the audit queries, audit samplings, further analysis or reconciliation during half year review and year end audit.
  • Assist on preparing Annual Financial statement for NZ, assist on the notes disclosures in the statutory accounts.
  • Provide professional customer service with team members and clients
  • Perform other administrative duties as required by NZ Leadership Team in a timely, efficient and accurate manner

Requirements

As a successful candidate, who are you?

  • Detail focused with an eye for accuracy
  • Have a solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Have previous experience working in accounts payable or receivables, or have an Accounting Degree
  • The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team and deliver results to strict deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • You are customer focused, and pride yourself in providing professional service
  • The ability to operate, communicate and contribute as an effective team member.
  • Previous experience with Great Plains accounting software would be considered advantageous.
