In line with our aggressive growth, we are looking for an Insights Manager/ Research Manager with a strong grasp of the English and Chinese languages to join the team. To be successful in this role, you should possess a tertiary qualification and preferably research experience in the information media industry. You should ideally be confident working with strict deadlines for clients from a wide range of industries.


Successful candidates will be responsible to provide our clients with compelling, bespoke reporting related to business objectives to help drive effective marketing and PR strategies, supporting business innovation and articulate the effectiveness of clients’ marketing and communications strategies in a measurable manner.


This opportunity is best suited for candidates who have a strong interest in news and current affairs. Advanced reading, writing and comprehension skills and a strong independent work ethic are a must. Additional Asian language skills will be considered favourably. A commitment to maintain high standards of quality is also important.

The Insights division in our business is growing and we need someone who can work collaboratively to build the brand and products, you'll also need to be commercially savvy and possess the drive to achieve revenue targets.  You will be responsible to :-

  • Lead the client relationship and revenue generation opportunities for Insights products
  • Provide highly valued and relevant measurement-based insights to Isentia clients
  • Lead the Insights team towards delivering best practice media content analysis for the Insights business
  • Deliver an outstanding client experience
  • Contribute to the continued enhancement of the Insights product offering
  • Work collaboratively and provide Insights support to the Business Development and Account Management teams in driving Insights sales and achieving revenue targets
  • Attend client engagement meetings, manage and coordinate projects and drive improvements and innovation in capturing accurate data
  • Active in educating the communications industry on measurement and participating in industry thought leadership events

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in related industry with sound knowledge of the market
  • In-depth knowledge of analysis methodologies, has a good business sense with the experience in recommending effective solutions in a B2B consultative selling environment
  • A confident communicator with excellent presentation skill
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation, with cross-cultural teams and with external parties
  • English proficient. Proficiency in other languages would be advantageous
  • Proven capability in hands-on problem solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions, self-motivated and results driven, excellent organisational and time management skills, high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
