An exciting role has become available for an experienced Product Owner, Social to help define and deliver Isentia’s region-wide, market-leading Media Monitoring websites and mobile apps (like our CODiE Award -winning


We’ve acquired leading talent and businesses from around the world to form two award winning business streams: Media Intelligence and Research / Insights. We’re hiring now for a new full-time role of Product Owner, Social to be based preferably in Singapore or Shanghai working closely with our product and IT teams.


Reporting to the Product Director, Social, you will understand the vision of a product and act as the critical connection between our customers’ needs and the Agile scrum teams that deliver our social products.


What might you get involved in when you take on this role?


  • Be instrumental in the development and launching of exciting new social monitoring platforms
  • Continuously prioritise the Product Backlog in JIRA in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Manage enhancement requests, ensuring they align to the Product Roadmap
  • Work within one or more scrum teams to determine sprint contents and priorities
  • Ensure there is a shared understanding of the features and user stories and sprint priorities across the delivery teams and client-facing teams




What skills do you need to be successful in this role?

  •  Solid experience with software products and product analysis: 3+ years experience working in a Product Owner / Business Analyst / Technical Analyst role
  • A strong understanding of social, web and mobile technologies and trends
  • Experience and a passion for Agile digital product delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Ability to communicate across the organisation and cultures, including excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish and build new relationships within the organisation
  • Driven to learn and operate as a team player who is self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Technical writing experience
  • Chinese language skills are not essential to this role, but would be considered favourably


What else are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of product management or product design and customer experience in a software product organization or team
  • Demonstrated strategic financial analysis related to assessing and developing compelling business cases and to support product plans prioritization with stakeholders
  • Prior experience in the media industry and in particular monitoring, analysis highly regarded
  • Strategic thinker, but able to get into the details with subject matter experts and regional client-facing teams
  • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, positive, high energy, and have a ‘can-do’ mindset!
