The role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering innovative content campaigns for the agency’s largest clients. Your most important duty is to ensure the effective translation of presented strategies into detailed and creative campaign plans. You will also follow each campaign through to execution, analysing results and providing key insights and recommendations to drive the brand forward in their content marketing journey.

Reporting to the Client Services Senior Account Director, this is an instrumental senior role within King Content Sydney. You must be a strong and confident communicator, someone who is client-focused, results-oriented and – above all – passionate about what you do.


About you

You are an energetic and collaborative Senior Account Manager with at least three years’ experience and a talent in optimising client business opportunities by driving continuous innovation, participating in the development/implementation of client marketing plans, and by demonstrating leadership with key internal departments.


You can talk to senior business leaders about the value that content marketing can bring through your intimate knowledge of the industry and a proven a track record of driving business growth through a variety of different tactics.

Your accountabilities

Ultimately you are responsible for the development and the maintenance of strong existing client relationships within your own portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring all content strategies are delivered on-brief, on-time and consistent with King Content’s standards.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Manage client relationships, projects and expectations.
  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies for clients in conjunction with our strategy team. 
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of a full range of integrated digital, strategic and creative projects.
  • Managing job- and client-related expenses, ensuring timely invoicing as well as being responsible for your team's job costs reports, forecast and pipeline management.
  • Use your passion for data, effective campaign reporting and the ability to draw actionable insights/recommendations. 
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the business with the management team by being involved in our high-level planning and strategy sessions. 
  • Contribute to our agency culture by being a fun-to-have-around, positive team player – not taking life too seriously. We like to enjoy life as much as we love to work hard.


Your must-haves

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role for either a digital agency or in a similar agency environment.
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio of high-value customers, taking responsibility for growing the revenue.
  • Have advised customers on how to achieve their business objectives in the most effective manner by using their various marketing channels most efficiently, advising on the interplay between all digital channels and ensuring that advice is delivered with confidence and gravitas.
