Junior Insights Analyst

Job description

  • Work under the guidance of the Head of Insights and Research to manage a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule ranging from data quality assurance, reports writing, to client presentations
  • Produce carefully written and constructed business reports that provide in-depth analysis of available data for better communications, marketing, and brand management.
  • Present reports on a periodic basis, and at times, analysis frameworks for pitches.
  • Proactively study best practices in media analysis and other communication research concepts
  • Manage projects effectively in order to meet client deadlines and to allow for collaboration/review
  • Maintain and monitor high accuracy levels and quality standards
  • Create analysis frameworks and briefs that match client interests and meet their objectives

Requirements

  • A successful Junior Junior Insights Analyst has the ability to:
    • Scrutinize, analyze, organize media data whether news or social
    • Manage accounts based on agreed upon specifications and framework
    • Simplify complex ideas through succinct and visually appealing reports
    • Confidently present insights reports to a broad range of audience who are mostly decision-makers
  • He/she must:
    • Have a penchant for communications, public relations, news, and public opinion through social media
    • Have inquisitiveness to pinpoint insights from trends to variations of data from varied fields
    • Have a strong commitment to data integrity and accuracy
    • Be able to work within a team but also strive to grow individually

Essentials:

  • Graduate of Communications Research, Mass Communications, Research, Statistics or any equivalent
  • 1-2 years of work experience as a researcher, analyst, writer, or account manager OR a fresh graduate with the above-stated capabilities
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient (or has a strong working knowledge) in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and data management skills (detail-oriented)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill
  • Must be client-oriented
  • Ability to design and implement analysis projects
  • Strong interest in research and analytics
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas
  • Must be able to start immediately

Desirables:

  • Experience in digital functions: content marketing, website management, community management, social media monitoring, analysis and metrics
  • Project management

The role may be made permanent after completing a 1 year project period.
